This DeLorean was built in November of 1981, was originally sold in Garland, Texas and is believed to have been in Texas it's entire life. In February of 2001, the car was shipped to us from it's owner to "bring it back to life" after sitting most of it's life with just 1,328 miles on the car. $14,000 later, the car was in superb mechanical and cosmetic condition. The owner drove the car sparingly, and sold it a year or so later with about another 500 miles on the car. The buyer put about 2000 miles on the car over the next seven years or so, bringing the car to us earlier this year with instructions to correct more storage related issues and sell the car.

This recent work includes:

- Fuel Sender
- All in-tank fuel components replaced, including pump & support, cover/boot, filter, pickup/returns hoses and lines
- Replace all six gas struts (doors, louvre, luggage compartment)
- Complete hose kit
- Replace water pump
- 15,000 mile (bi-annual maintenance), includes belts, fluids and filters
- Complete A/C service

More and more prospective DeLorean owners are seeing the benefit in buying quality, recently serviced low mileage DeLoreans. This car, with less than 4,000 miles and a price of $32,500, can easily be driven another 20,000 miles over the next couple years and should command at or near the same price, so long as the car is not abused, and maintenance is kept up to date. DeLorean values have consistently risen over the past several years, and this trend is expected to continue.
